My Parents

Both are very crazy, to say the least. But I do respect and look up to them. They are probably the greatest role models I'll ever meet. Sure, they get on my case, jump to conclusions, and are highly suspicious of my behavior, but, I mean, come on, I'm a teenager and it's a phase for them. But aside of all of that, they really are hard working, loving, caring individuals that (at times) both have the maturity level of a 12 year old (no joke!)

My dad, who came from pretty much nothing, is now head of his own company, that is doing really well, and even if he has the tendency to bring work home, it just shows how devoted he is to his job. My mom, while she had a leg up when she was younger, is still just as hard working as my dad. She runs the company along side of my dad and probably has the more stressful job of the two (being the one who checks her blood pressure everyday, I know that).

They both want me to succeed, and frankly I'd be amazed if I became half of what they are. They care so much for my education it becomes frustrating, and I often feel like I'm not living their expectations. But then I realize, I'm not living up to my expectations.

I guess I just finally realized what my parents mean to me, which is a lot. I love them, and even though they can really get on my back, I know I can sort it out eventually.

Turn-around day

Today, I thought, was just another day. On the computer, updating shit, when there is a knock on the door. Dad gets it, I'm called up, I think it's just another neighbour needing me to babysit next weekend or something. To my surprise, who is at the door but Deem, Donnelly..

And Bobby.

Out of the shock that there are actually people calling on me to come hang out that have biked across the city (a good 45 minutes with many hills between), this hit me most. It was almost like thing were semi-normal. I could look him in the eye and wasn't afraid I'd blush, or have to turn away because it was uncomfortable. It was as if his showing up there fixed all problems between us. And now, knowing that he's back, and seeing him, and hanging around him, and talking to him for a good hour, I feel like I can finally move past this. It was awkward, and yet it was fine. I guess I've lost the ability to blush after being embarrassed so many times.. That part of my autonomy has been over used and has now broken down.

But.. I feel good. And on top of that I got some exercise so I'll be able to sleep like a baby ^_^

Anyways.. Out for now.. buh bye.

My Hiroshima

So I'm stuck in this history class, bored as hell, trying to research a term paper on the atomic bombings on Japan. Hiroshima is pretty cool, actually, I'm learning a little bit more on Japan, if not a lot. This one bitch is circling around the computers like a hawk.. Twice she's touched my shoulder to keep me from "straying off task". QUIT TOUCHING ME WOMAN! SI VOUS PLAIT! Anyways. I'm also in the hell version of a trip down memory lane. In my history class are two girls I could do without seeing ever again. Kelsey and.. Ugh.. Shannon Archer. The two biggest problems I have ever encountered in my intimate relationships with past boyfriends. Both of them. HERE. SITTING BESIDE EACHOTHER!!! Why why why why why why why.. Okay enough of that, I could go on forever like that, but I won't, it's a waste of my time and energy. *sigh* I want to be somewhere else right now, anywhere else.. I wish I could turn in my research paper from school and then never set foot inside this classroom ever again. But that won't happen.. I have 10 days of this misery.. Hardly fair considering I'll only have a month to myself. I can't wait to see some of the mistakes I'm making on this. I'm not even watching what I'm typing.. The window is reduced to the top bar so the hawk won't catch me updating my blog. I'll draft it then publish it later on at home.
Oh I am so hungry.. I have no money (or at least I don't think I do) because I had a fight with my mother this morning and didn't dare ask for any. My stomach hurts.. This coming from the girl who always eats. I have to keep checking every once in a while to make sure that I'm not typing for naught. I'd be a shame if part of my ill spent effort didn't even produce something to my advantage..

What else summer school brings to mind is that when I am finished, two people will be returning to Guelph, one of them I want to see (Karen) the other I want to kick in the balls, mostly because Kelsey is sitting a meter or two away from me.. Way to make me depressed, eh? Anyways.. I think I'll stop mindlessly typing now.. I'm tired and hungry and wishing I at least remembered to pack batteries for my diskman, that loves to eat up their power supply so quickly.. Soon I'll have enough money to buy a new one that won't cost more for the actual equipment then the total yearly supply of batteries.

Bored and pissed singing off, later dude.
